The purpose of California Advocates Management Services (CAMS), an association
management company, is to provide professional quality management services to
our association clients at a reasonable cost.

maintaining the day-to-day operations of an association, CAMS’ staff has the
ability to provide assistance in areas that would benefit the members and the
industry in general. It is the intent of CAMS to provide a different insight
and new ideas to foster the growth of an association. CAMS has been
instrumental in proposing and implementing new programs for associations
including non-dues revenue programs specifically designed to appeal to the
member and benefit the association’s bottom-line. CAMS’ staff is fully aware of
the advancement of technology and works closely with long range planning
committees and special ad-hoc committees to further promote the association
through electronic means and updates its offices and equipment accordingly.
It is our responsibility as an association management company to
provide professional management expertise and services to association leaders
and the membership. CAMS’ staff is prepared to follow directions from the board
of directors, and to assist in the implementation of policies and procedures as
established by the board and committees. It is our role to be informed of
association activities and policies in order to respond to the needs of the
members by providing timely and accurate information. CAMS’ staff is fully
aware that it is our duty to fulfill the day-to-day administrative tasks so that
volunteer leaders can concentrate on the association’s long term plans and
goals. CAMS’ staff members play an integral role in strategic planning sessions
to assist the volunteer leaders in meeting those long term plans and goals.
